Processing Time

Once your order is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information.

In the event of high order volumes, there may be delays in shipping. We will notify you if your order is significantly delayed.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Standard Shipping (within the U.S.): Estimated delivery time is 3-7 business days after your order has been processed.

Expedited Shipping: Available for an additional cost. Delivery time is 1-3 business days.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship within the United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Order Tracking

Damaged or Lost Packages

We take great care in packaging your candles to ensure they arrive safely. However, if your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

Damaged Packages: Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the damaged items. We will replace or refund the damaged items.

Lost Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please wait 24 hours and then contact us. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue, but we are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect shipping addresses.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Return & Refund Policy
At Half Moon Bay Candle Co., we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our candles. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Returns

Eligibility: Returns are accepted for unused, unlit candles in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date.

Non-Returnable Items: We cannot accept returns for candles that have been used, lit, or damaged due to improper handling.

Proof of Purchase: To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items

If your candle arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will gladly offer a replacement or full refund.

To process your claim, please email us at hello@hmbcandle.com with your order number, a description of the damage or defect, and photos of the product.
Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the item was damaged or defective upon arrival.
Exchanges

How to Initiate a Return
